Okay, okay. I’ll try not to write a million things. This is all I can think of at the current time.. by the end of the night.. i’ll think of more. This is just kind of my take.
I do think it’s possible to be in love at this age.. but it depends on a lot of things. If the people in the relationship are mature enough to be able to take something like ‘being in love’ seriously, and not just say it because they think they have to- then, I think it’s possible. I also think, it helps if you’ve been in other relationships before, and as bad as it sounds.. experienced heart break. If you’ve never experienced the bad, how else do you know that love is love, and not merely lust or simply strong affection?
But, i wouldn’t know.
I’m sixteen, i’ve dated once person, and i’ve never been in love.
Hm, so what is love?
Quite a difficult subject..
I think it’s when you realize that
nothing else matters.
Like, when it doesn’t really matter what’s going on because you have love that will help you through. Love is kind of like a protection- it’s safety.
And, I see why there are people who date so many people to ‘fall in love’.. because, they just want that security.
People *try* to fall in love nowadays..
I think it’s only because, we all have so much love to give. We think everyone is the one who deserves it most. The thing about love, is that it’s safety.. it’s that someone wants you for you.
I think that’s the beautiful part about it.
You spend your whole life becoming this person that is you; everything you’ve experienced has made you who you are, every mistake, every moment that has changed your life, every beautiful part about you and every flaw- it’s all completely YOU; and then you find someone who can look at you and think you are the most magnificent person in the world.
Which, is beautiful.
The thing is though,
love is kind of like inspiration,
you can’t search for it- because you’ll never find it. It has to find you.
But when it does, it threads into your heart and you almost feel as if you’re so much stronger.. and that’s why people are scared when they don’t have love.
Love is powerful. It’s beautiful and terrifying.
We’re excited by it and scared; which makes it all more intriguing.
Believe that you can fall in love, and you will eventually.
