everywhere outside of here
at night,
it’s loud, and cars are screeching past.
the street lights show you the way
even when it’s the wrong direction
because, it feels right,
alive.
awake.
and here, in this town,
everyone is asleep by midnight.
i feel alive in the night.
i belong being awake at night
and asleep during the day..
the night is freedom.
the darkness seems so bright.

i need to just.. live.
i need to get out of this town.
